Memorial Day is just around the corner, and it’s never too late to start planning! Memorial Day 2017 Events Around Oklahoma City OK
45th Infantry Division Museum
Each year the 45th Infantry Division Museum hosts a Memorial Day Ceremony honoring those who served the United States armed forces. The Ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day (May 29, 2017) and some highlights include a helicopter flyover, patriotic music, speakers, massing of the colors, and more. Chickasaw Cultural Center
The Chickasaw Cultural Center will have a Memorial Day Celebration from May 27 to May 28 that focuses on cultural demonstrations, traditional games, and more. The Center will also have a special Armed Forces Honor Day on May 20. It’s not exactly on Memorial Day, but on that day veterans and current active military personnel will receive free admission, and the war drama film Unbroken will be shown at the Anoli’ Theater at 1 p.m. Learn more here.

Memorial Day at Remington Park
This free event will feature racing and big big band music with Memorial Day favorites from The Talk of the Town Orchestra. Food will be available to purchase and military and government personnel will be able to take advantage of other incentives. Learn more here.
