Safe Seating for All Ages in the Honda Odyssey

Is it easy to put a car seat in the Honda Odyssey?

Minivans are, by their nature, family haulers. The Honda Odyssey is no exception. This minivan has up to eight passenger seating (with seven-passenger seating in some trims). That is great for adults and older kids, but is it easy to put a car seat in the Honda Odyssey? Thanks to LATCH technology and the care of the engineers at Honda, this minivan offers easy car seat installation.

How many car seats can you fit in the Honda Odyssey?

Magic Slide™ seats on the 2018 Honda Odyssey give parents versatility when installing child car seats.

Big families need a lot of car seats, and the Honda Odyssey can deliver. Models like eight-passenger 2019 Honda Odyssey (which is currently available here at Battison Honda in new Odyssey inventory) can hold up to five car seats all with LATCH installation: two in the third row and three in the second row. When a Honda Odyssey is equipped with Magic Slide™ seats, parents can even keep two forward-facing car seats in the second row and still move the seat side to side to maintain easy access to the third row.

Installing a child car seat correctly is very important to keeping children safe on the road. LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) can make these seats more secure. If you have questions about correctly installing a car seat in your Honda Odyssey or any other Honda vehicle in the Oklahoma City OK area, please feel free to contact a Battison Honda representative.
