As people become more and more reliant on their cell phones for audio streaming, GPS, and other on-road essentials, it’s more important than ever to have an easy way to keep everything charged on the go. While USB ports in center consoles give people a convenient way to recharge, there are messy cords involved that can get in the way and cause clutter. To solve this minor issue, some Honda models now offer wireless charging trays where drivers can simply set their phone down to charge wirelessly.
On the recently released 2020 Honda CR-V, wireless charging comes standard on the Touring trim. Learn more about how to use the system below.

How To Use The 2020 Honda CR-V Wireless Phone Charger
Three Steps To Charge Your Phone
Step 1:
Clear any objects off of your wireless charging tray especially coins, keys or other metal objects. When the system is on, metal objects on the tray could become hot enough to burn your skin.
Step 2:
A power button is located near the top right of the wireless charging tray on the 2020 CR-V. To turn the system on, press the power button once. A green indicator light should come on.
Step 3:
After turning the system on, simply set your compatible smartphone on the charging tray with the screen face up. The green indicator light will turn amber when your phone is charging.
