Halloween and Weekend Before OKC Trick-or-Treating Opportunities

What time is trick-or-treating 2018 in Oklahoma City OK?

This year, Halloween will fall on a Wednesday, which is one of the least convenient days for parents and kids to go trick-or-treating.  So what time is trick-or-treating 2018 in Oklahoma City OK? While the city itself does not set a time (though specific neighborhoods may have recommendations), times nationally tend to range between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Halloween itself (Oct. .31) with some special events beginning earlier and going later. With sunset on Halloween 2018 falling at 6:36 p.m. we feel like the prime trick-or-treating time would fall between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Families with smaller children may want to head out earlier, while older students may want to stay out later when it’s truly dark.

NOTE: This blog has been updated with new information. Trick-or-treating in OKC will be celebrated on the day of Halloween and not moved to any other day.
