We’ve talked a little about trick-or-treat times for 2018, and last year we wrote about some of the best family-friendly Halloween activities for 2017 (many of which will be returning this year to offer all-ages fun) but what about us older folks who want a good scare? If you are looking to throw your heart rate up a notch, here are some of the best haunted houses 2018 near Oklahoma City OK.

Trail of Terror
Location: 2701 W 10th St / E1060 Rd – Reno OK
Hours: Fridays and Saturdays in October from dusk to 11 p.m.
Cost: $10 per ticket.
Details: New for this year is the Haunted Barn attraction. Headless Horseman appearances will happen nightly!
Frontier City Fright Fest
Location: 11501 N I-35 Service Road – Oklahoma City OK
Hours: Friday-Sunday September 29-October 28, usually open until 10/11 p.m. with variable start times.
Cost: Adult $47.99, child $37.99, some discounts available.
Details: Fright Fest is included in the general admission price for Frontier City, which means families can enjoy the rides as well as unique Halloween-themed entertainment. There is fun for all ages, though there are some scary attractions not recommended for younger boys and ghouls.
Guthrie Scaregrounds
Location: 4524 Riverside Circle – Guthrie OK
Hours: Fridays and Saturdays starting Sept 22, with extended hours Halloween week. Tickets available from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Cost: $20 per ticket, with additional options available.
Details: This attraction covers 30,000 square feet and can take almost an hour to complete.
Lost Lakes Haunted Forest
Location: 3501 NE 10th St. – Oklahoma City, OK 73117
Hours: Fridays and Saturdays starting Sept 22, with extended hours Halloween week. Tickets available from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Cost: $25 per ticket, $40 for Fast Pass. Group rates available.
Details: Nearly a mile of outdoor terrors and thrills.
The Sanctuary Haunted Attraction
Location: 12101 N 1-35 Service Rd – Oklahoma City OK
Hours: Fridays and Saturdays in October from September 28 (roughly 8-11 p.m., with later hours toward the end of October), and Sunday/Wednesday Halloween week
Cost: $25 per ticket, with add-ons and group discounts available.
Details: Great designs and cutting-edge special effects will make your toe curl and make you feel like you are part of a horror movie.
