2019 Honda Insight Dealership Release Date
Honda is releasing more and more hybrid vehicles that offer drivers the opportunity to get better fuel economy than is available with traditional gasoline-only powertrain while still delivering a comfortable and attractive driving experience. The new Honda Insight made its world production debut toward the end of last month at the 2018 New York International Auto Show. This was our first chance to see the production version of the new Insight (though the Prototype was unveiled back in January). Interior Space of the Honda Insight
The 2019 Honda Insight is a compact sedan that will fall between the Honda Civic and the Honda Accord when it comes to sizing and pricing. It will seat five passengers and offer 15.1 cubic feet of trunk space with a folding rear seat for more cargo-carrying versatility. The EX and Touring trims will offer a 60/40 folding rear seat. Rear passengers will be able to enjoy up to 37.4 inches of leg room.
Well-Equipped LX Base Trim
Whether drivers choose the LX, EX, or Touring trims of the 2019 Honda Insight, they will be able to enjoy many practical comfort and convenience features. Standard features on the LX model include LED headlights, running lights, and taillights; heated mirrors; a 7-inch driver instrumentation display; push-button start; 16-inch alloy wheels; a 6-speaker audio system; and both Bluetooth® and Pandora® compatibility.
EX and Touring Features
Moving up to the upper trims of the 2019 Honda Insight will bring other advanced features to drivers. Among other advantages, EX has Smart Entry, SiriusXM® radio, and the 8-inch Display Audio infotainment system (which adds both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity). The elite Touring model adds heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, 4G LTE Wi-Fi with mobile hotspot capability, and a 10-speaker audio system, just to name a few features on this top trim.
All models of the 2019 Honda Insight will be powered by a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5-liter engine, a electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery pack.
