There are already Honda hybrid vehicles on the road, but the new Honda Insight Prototype which will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in January 2018 promises to push the envelope. The new Insight will feature a new styling attitude, the latest-generation two-motor Honda hybrid system, and cutting-edge features and comforts. While the Insight nameplate has been on the road before, this new model will represent the next step in the Honda Electrification Initiative to make electric vehicles a majority of Honda vehicle sales by 2030. 2019 Honda Insight Release Date
The Honda Insight Prototype (pictured in the images of this blog) will debut on Jan. 15 at NAIAS 2018, but the production model will not be that far behind. The anticipated release of the 2019 Honda Insight is summer 2018.
What will the new Honda Insight look like?
There will probably be some differences between the prototype and production model of the Honda Insight. However, we know that the 2019 Honda Insight will seat five passengers and deliver performance comparable to mainstream gas-only models, with the additional advantages of hybrid fuel efficiency. This model will slot into the Honda lineup above the Civic compact car. Based on the preview images, we anticipate elegant lines and a confident stance on the new 2019 Honda Insight.
