How do you use Honda CabinWatch?
We haven’t gotten a chance to explore the features of the the 2018 Honda Odyssey for ourselves yet, but we think that the new CabinWatch system will be fairly user friendly. This system will be controlled (and show up) on the eight-inch Display Audio screen in the dashboard of the 2018 Odyssey. Drivers and front passenger should be able to navigate to the CabinWatch feature from the same section of the infotainment system where they would be able to control the rear entertainment screen, navigation, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With the touch of one button, parents will be able to see if children are behaving (or sleeping peacefully) in the back seat.

Where is the CabinWatch camera located?
The Honda CabinWatch camera is located close to the overhead screen of the available rear entertainment system on the 2018 Honda Odyssey. From this location, front passengers will be able to easily see passengers in both the second and third row of seating.
Can you use CabinWatch at night?
One of the best parts of CabinWatch is how versatile it is. Front passengers will be able to get a clear picture of the rear seats during the day or the night. Parents can also zoom in on specific parts of the screen to get a closer view of what their children are doing.
Communicate with CabinTalk
If drivers want to communicate with rear passengers, in select trims they will be able to speak through the rear sound system or the headphones of the rear entertainment system thanks to Honda CabinTalk.
