What’s new on the 2019 Honda Civic?
The 10th-generation Honda Civic in Coupe and Sedan form will offer updated styling, a new Sport trim, and will now deliver Honda Sensing as standard on all trim levels. The Honda Sensing suite of safety features on these two- and four-door models will include Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, the Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and the Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning.
Civic Design
Several subtle visual changes are coming on the 2019 Civic. The front fascia of both the Sedan and Coupe models has been redesigned, including a new piano black upper “wing” section, tweaked lower facia, bumper and grille. Other highlights include:
- Full-width front splitter
- Chrome side pod accents
- New headlights (halogen or LED)
- New wheel designs (including 18-inch trims on Touring models)
- Rear bumper chrome accent (Sedan only)
Sport Trim
The 2019 Honda Civic will boast a new Sport trim that will slot between the LX and EX models and offer an athletic design and driving-oriented features. The Sedan model will have a rear decklid spoiler, while a piano black lower front fascia and side pod accents will be standard. Other feature highlights include:
- 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black
- 0-liter high-revving four-cylinder engine
- A CVT with G-Shift Control or six-speed manual transmission
- 7-inch Display Audio infotainment system
