4th of July Parking 2018 in Oklahoma City OK

There are always several events in Oklahoma City that will help you celebrate the season, but can you find parking for them? That is another trick. In this blog we are focusing on 4th of July parking 2018  in Oklahoma City OK for two big events: Red, White & Boom, and the Bricktown Fireworks Extravaganza. The Red, White & Boom concert and fireworks display will be on Tuesday, July 3 with the Downtown event on the 4th itself. This means you can have twice the celebration and twice the fireworks (and twice the parking challenges).

There is extensive parking available at that facility, and both admission and parking are free for the event. That said, we would recommend arriving a little early to get a good spot.

The Oklahoma City Philharmonic will begin the “Red, White & Boom” concert of patriotic and fun music at 8:30 p.m. The main events for the evening will all be located near Gate 5 at the State Fair Park off May Avenue. Fireworks to begin at 10 p.m. Food will be available to purchase, and attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.

OKC 4th Fest Downtown

Running from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on the 4th of July, the OKC 4th Fest in Downtown will be a great time. The best spots to see fireworks will be RIVERSPORT Adventures, Bricktown, the Lawn Party area looking toward the South West of the River, and the rest of the Boat House District. Street parking is available, and the Bricktown Parking Garage and the Cox Convention Center Parking Garage are the closest garages to the area, though they still may require a longer walk. There should also be other parking lots in the area that will be offering parking for the event.

This event will feature DJ’d music, games, food trucks, and plenty of fun for parents and kids alike. Fireworks will begin at 9:45 p.m. You can learn more at the event website.
