2018 Honda Pilot Cargo and Passenger Space
Both cargo volume and seating capacity in the 2018 Honda Pilot will vary depending on the trim level you choose. Eight-passenger seating is standard on the LX, EX, EX-L and Touring models, while the top-of-the-line Elite model drops that number down to seven thanks to second-row captain’s chairs. Passenger volume is 152.9 cubic feet for LX and EX models, 151.7 cubic feet for EX-L and Touring models, and 153.1 cubic feet for Elite models.
Room for Luggage
Cargo room also varies depending on the trim level, and whether or not you have the rear seats up for passengers, or down to maximize interior space (which can be particularly useful when going on a weekend adventure, or helping a student move to college or to their first house). Most trims offer up to 18.5 cubic feet for cargo behind the rear seats (Elite: 18 cubic feet), which can expand out to 109.2 cubic feet (Elite: 108.5 cubic feet) with all the seats folded down.
Towing Options
The 2018 Honda Pilot is also able to tow up to 5,000 pounds, depending on its powertrain configuration. This can open up even more cargo carrying options for busy families.
