2018 Honda Accord Release Date

While exact pricing and more details will come out later this year and closer to launch, we should see the arrival of the 2018 Honda Accord in dealerships across the United States sometime this fall. Be sure to contact a member of our sales team to get updates on its likely arrival date!

2018 Accord Powertrain Options

The new 2018 Honda Accord will be available with several advanced new powertrain options. Each of these powertrains is designed to be fun to drive with plenty of torque while also optimizing fuel efficiency. We aren’t sure yet which trims or models will be available with these powertrains, (and if there will be an attractive coupe model as well as the sedan version). We are assuming that the powertrain options below will be available on the sedan model.

1.5-liter Engine

The 2018 Honda Accord will be available with a turbocharged 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with direct injection and dual variable cam timing. It will be available with either a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a six-speed manual transmission.

2.0-liter Engine

The 2.0-liter engine available on the 2018 Honda Accord will come mated to either a 10-speed automatic transmission (which is the industry’s first 10-speed automatic transmission in a front-wheel-drive passenger car) or a six-speed manual.

Accord Hybrid

Information is thin about the new 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid, but it will build on current Honda two-motor hybrid technology, which delivers excellent fuel efficiency without the use of a conventional automatic transmission. More information will come!

Here at Battison Honda, we are very excited about the 2018 Honda Accord. Keep watching this blog for updates as we get them on the Accord and other 2018 models like the 2018 Odyssey.
